Synopsis:
New laboratory experiments have made human cells immortal. Some believe that aging may become a treatable disease. Eternal life may become possible.
The Bible tells us that Methuselah lived for 969 years. If that is literal true, we may know how he did it.
Dr. Hayflick determined that we humans have a built-in death clock that only lets us live to about age 120. Interestingly, the Bible also tells us that after Noah’s Flood man cannot live beyond 120 years. This is now called the Hayflick Limit.
Our death clock is set by the number of times that our cells can multiply to replace themselves due to the wear and tear of aging. Each time our cells divide to create new cells some of the genetic material at the ends of our chromosomes is lost. After a certain number of divisions this genetic material becomes too eroded to keep the chromosomes organized; thus the cells die and cannot replace themselves.
Ancient writings suggest that privileged patriarchs and royal kings of Sumer and Babylon used a plant containing an enzyme that restored the eroded genetic material. The lab tests mentioned above used such an enzyme.
We have found a certain plant that produces an enzyme that is almost like the enzyme needed to promote replacement of the eroded genetic material. We now have the technology to genetically modify this plant to produce the exact enzyme needed.
Many believe that it is just a matter of time before today’s privileged can afford and obtain treatment for immortality.
The question for us is: When can we get the treatment?
Take a look at Immortal Again to learn more about these extremely important new findings.
Read; learn; enjoy.
