Synopsis
Ancient literature and “mythology” is filled with stories of an early civilization that was destroyed by a great disaster. Plato said it was Atlantis.
DNA studies have been combined with archaeological and climatological data to obtain an understanding of early human migrations to Atlantis about 45,000 years ago.
When they arrived the sea level was perhaps as much as 395 feet lower than it is today because more of the Earth’s water was tied up in glaciers. The founding fathers found their way out to Atlantis.
The Atlantians used the natural resources of the Atlantis Island to construct their capital city of Poseidon.
Their survival through the ages of the long migration developed in them a high level of intelligence. Their wall paintings and illustrations in caves date back more than 30,000 years.
They drew maps of the night sky and created a prehistoric planetarium where mankind first charted the stars; first “understood” the sky gods.
Atlantis established the first pantheon of gods from their studies of the night sky.
The ancient civilizations of Greece, Sumer, India, Egypt and Rome inherited the concept of a pantheon of sky gods from Atlantis. This became the dominate religion until Rome adapted Christianity in about 300 AD.
Atlantis developed food crops more than 10,000 years ago that later provided the seeds for all future agriculture.
The Kingdom of Atlantis was an organized war machine. Atlantis had a military establishment comparable to today’s US military establishment. They had 1200 ships.
They dominated all the islands about them and the lands of the northern Mediterranean Sea as far east as central Italy and of the southern Mediterranean Sea nearly to Egypt.
Plato tells us that Atlantis engaged in a great war with ancient Athens and her allies.
The civilization of Atlantis was the basic foundation of the great Sumerian, Egyptian, Creek, and Roman civilizations that followed.
Atlantis was the foundation of all we are and all we know.
